Wood is a porous material, it allows essential air circulation in order to maintain only the amount of humidity necessary. The life of the reeds is thus ensured.
This is why the solid wood used has been air-dried for at least two years.
The interiors are made of impact resistant injected plastic and have been designed to store and protect reeds preventing any type of physical modification.
The wood used comes from Argentina : the dark is of cabralea, the light of nothofagus (beech of the land of fire)
